"A must for your visit to Bergerac, the Maison des Vins is located in old Bergerac, in the beautiful cloister and monastery. You will discover the 13 appellations of Bergerac and the exhibition "Wine Journey" which takes visitors through the history of the vineyard using real and virtual images, a film, a sensory room where visitors can discover the aromas of wines from the region, and of course, discover the actual wines themselves in the wine cellar where wine tasting is offered by the Maison des Vins' staff.

In Summer, the Maison des Vins offers an introduction to wine-tasting on Wednesday mornings in French and on Friday in English. Five different types of wine from the region are tasted, with an explanation of each AOC region and an introduction to wine tasting, colours, aromas and sensations. Every day from mid-June to mid-September, a winemaker from the Wine Route comes to meet visitors at the Maison des Vins to share his wines and his passion."
